Welcome to Eduslides Universal College (EUC)!

General Statement

The EUC will endeavor to take reasonable precautions to maintain privacy and security within the sphere of operations. We cannot guarantee that these efforts will always be successful and, therefore, users must assume the risk of a breach of EUC privacy and security systems. Individuals or visitors are advised to be discreet and cautious in their use of our systems. The Eduslides Universal College Privacy Guidelines are reviewed periodically and may be modified at the discretion of the University. These changes will be posted on this site.

Collected Information

When you enroll as a student or subscriber (“student”) on our website or any courses, as part of the enrolling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name and email address.

Email Marketing

we may send you emails about our site and related academic course(s), registration, course content, your course progress, or other updates. We may also use your email to inform you about changes to the course, survey you about your usage, collect your opinion, or market new courses or other products to you.

Information Sharing

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL).  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence.

Accordingly, we do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from persons under 13 years of age, and no part of the Website is directed to persons under 13 years of age. If our website or course is acquired or merged with another organization, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to offer services to you.

Data Retention

We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax, or accounting requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

Your Rights

You may unsubscribe from certain email communications by following the unsubscribe link in the email communication itself. You may also update your personal information by logging into the Website and visiting your learner profile page.

You may also email us at studentservices@eduslides.com to access, correct, or update your personal information on our systems.

We will answer every email as promptly as possible. Unless you are also enrolled with our College and are taking an Online Course for Accreditation, or you are taking an Online Course through your employer, you have the right to delete your account. To do so, you can go to your settings. If not possible, you can contact us to delete it for you through studentservices@eduslides.com

Email

EUC does not intend to monitor the contents of e-mails sent to or from our servers, except to identify and correct problems with E-mail delivery or receipt, to work with email system problems, or to deal with misconduct or security issues.

Electronic logs of who sends and receives e-mail through University servers are maintained for a short period. This information may be used to analyze trends, create summary statistics for internal planning purposes, and otherwise aid in maintaining system performance and security.

E-mail related information is stored temporarily and may only be released if legally mandated by law enforcement investigators, required by court proceedings, or it is deemed necessary for internal investigations of violations of University rules and regulations.

The names and e-mail addresses of University of Denver students, faculty, and staff are available in a searchable index. An individual may opt-out of this index and have his/her name removed by contacting the Digital Team at staff@eduslides.com.

By continuing to access the Website, use the Online Academic Courses and Contents, and/or provide content in connection with the Online Courses and Content, you will be deemed to have accepted the Privacy Policy as amended at the time of your access and use.
